the mill was a hidden gem, with its beautiful location and easy access to nearby towns. our host, jon, was incredibly generous and knowledgeable about the area, making our stay even more memorable. the apartment itself was spotless and well-equipped, and we even received a surprise gift of delicious figs. the combination of modern amenities with the mill's historic charm was superb.

Bathroom and bedroom layout may not be ideal for those with limited mobility.

The value for our money was excellent, we got a fantastic room with all the modern amenities mixed with charming historical features. The location was stunning, perfect for exploring North Yorkshire and going on beautiful walks. The staff treated us with kindness and offered a fascinating tour of the mill, including the incredible waterwheel.

The breakfast selection could have been better, but that was our only minor issue.
